Getting started on a J&J device

Overview and prerequisites:

  • Your J&J password was reset during the initial configuration of your device. To configure your PC, you must first reset your password by visiting mypassword.jnj.com on any internet enabled device.
  • Please ensure that your PingID is set up in advance by visiting mfa.jnj.com.

Step 1

Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Click the Network Icon at the bottom right side of the screen.

  • Connect to your preferred Wi-Fi network. If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password.

  • Once you are connected, a Wi-Fi icon will appear.

If your Wi-Fi icon does not appear on your screen, please click thembJnJ- below for Wi-Fi guidance.

Step 2

Log in to your new device

  • Click anywhere on the screen.

  • Enter your J&J email address and password. This will be the password you recently updated.

If you don’t have your J&J email or password, click the link below for assistance.

Step 3

Set up Windows Hello for Business

Note: Windows Hello does not apply to shared devices.

  • After your initial device login, a Windows Hello pop-up will prompt you to set up a biometric login and 8-digit pin.
  • The setup process takes approximately 5 minutes.

Step 4

Authenticate with PingID

  • Once you have set up your J&J computer, you will need PingID to authenticate.

  • PingID should already be installed on your mobile device.
