Get started on your mobile device

Overview and prerequisites:

This guide is for J&J colleagues who need access to J&J services such as email, Microsoft apps, apps from the J&J apps store or automatic Wi-Fi access in J&J offices on their mobile devices. It is required to have Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management installed on any mobile device to access J&J information, apps or services.

  • Mobile devices must be updated with the most current operating system.
  • Before you begin, ensure you have the following apps installed on your mobile device:
    1. PingID – with your Johnson & Johnson ID configured – Need help? (sign in with your J&J email and password)
    2. Microsoft Intune Company Portal – Apple App Store or Google Play.

    3. Microsoft Outlook Mobile – Apple App Store or Google Play.


Microsoft Intune Company Portal

  1. Open Intune Company Portal. Select the option to Sign In.
  2. Sign in using your J&J email credentials. You will then need to use your PingID to complete the sign-in process.
  3. On the "Set up J&J access" screen, select the option to Begin. This will start the enrollment process.
  4. Follow the instructions on screen through the next several steps to complete the process.

Microsoft Outlook Mobile

Option A: For first time use only.

If you have not set up an account before on Outlook Mobile, please follow these instructions.

  1. Open the Outlook Mobile App and if prompted to add a previous account, select Skip.
  2. On the “Add Account” screen, enter your J&J email address and select Add Account.
  3. Complete the PingID authentication request with your J&J account information.

Option B: Adding an additional account.

If you already have an existing personal account set up on Outlook Mobile, please follow these instructions.

  1. Select the image or logo in the top left corner next to the word Inbox.
  2. In the bottom left of the screen, select the settings gear icon to open the settings menu.
  3. From Settings, select the option for Add Mail Account.
  4. From the pop-up, select the option for Add Mail Account.
  5. On the Add Account screen, enter your J&J email address and select Add Account.
  6. Complete the PingID authentication request with your J&J account information.
